GFS offers a weekly space for girls to build their confidence, try new things, make friends and have fun. We're looking for volunteers who are passionate sharing their skills, knowledge and experience with girls & young women.
We have a brand new girls group launching in Newport in spring 2022 and we are looking for volunteers.
GFS offers weekly group sessions that offer support, fun and friendship for girls in the local community. The sessions offer girls a safe space to develop their confidence, self-esteem, wellbeing and resilience.
We are looking for women from the local community who are passionate about helping girls reach their potential by offering new experiences and supporting them to make new friends.
We welcome volunteers who would be happy to share their skills and interests with the girls through a range of activities including arts and crafts, performing arts, STEM, skills for life, sports and community participation.

Head Over Heels offer a range of gymnastics classes in Rogerstone, Newport, South Wales: parent and child gymnastics for under 2 years and for 2-4 years, independent preschool gymnastics and school age gymnastics for 4-11 year olds.
Come Together & Craft with Lisa Floyd
Join prop-maker Lisa Floyd and the group for 2 hours of craft tutorials, skill share and all-round chatty fun. Bring along a project you’re working on to ask for advice – or just show off a bit!
